This study aims to analyze various strategies for improving the basic literacy of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) students through a literature review approach. Various literature found shows that students' basic literacy skills, particularly in the aspects of reading comprehension and the ability to express ideas in writing, still need to be strengthened. The main contributing factor is the use of traditional learning methods that do not emphasize deep comprehension strategies. Through literature analysis, this study found that strategies such as reading aloud, developing a literacy-rich environment, utilizing relevant digital media, parental involvement, and constructivism and scaffolding approaches are effective strategies for improving the basic literacy of MI students. In addition, the integration of literacy in all subjects also expands opportunities for students to interact with texts in a meaningful way. This study emphasizes that improving basic literacy requires continuous collaboration between teachers, schools, and parents, as well as the provision of a learning environment that supports optimal literacy development.Unduhan
