Author Guidelines

Manuscript Submission – Al Hasyimiyah

Authors must submit manuscripts online by first registering as an author at the website:

(Note: Replace this link with the actual registration page of Al Hasyimiyah if different.)

Each submitted article must comply with the terms and conditions outlined in the Style Guide of Al Hasyimiyah, downloadable from the journal’s Style Guide page.

General Requirements

  • Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere.

  • Accepted article types: field studies, literature reviews, conceptual papers, theoretical applications, or critiques in social sciences, humanities, or health-related technologies.

  • Language: Bahasa Indonesia or English.

  • Font: Times New Roman, size 11, single spacing, and single-column format.

  • File types: DOC, DOCX, or RTF.

  • Use the official Article Template provided by the journal.

  • Plagiarism level must be below 20% (checked using plagiarism software).

  • No plagiarized, falsified, or fabricated data.

  • At least 30 references with DOIs, managed with a reference manager such as Mendeley, and follow APA 7th edition style.

Title

  • Must be clear, specific, and engaging.

  • Avoid uncommon abbreviations.

  • Font: Times New Roman, size 18 pt, bold, left-aligned, with 0 pt spacing above and below.

Author Names and Affiliations

  • No academic/professional titles (e.g., Prof., Dr.).

  • Full first and last names only.

  • Include department/unit, university, full address, and country.

  • Indicate the corresponding author with an email icon in superscript.

  • Font: Times New Roman, size 11 pt for both names and affiliations.

  • Any present or permanent address may be added as a footnote.

Abstract and Keywords

  • Must be written in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.

  • Max length: 150 words per version.

  • Font: Times New Roman, size 11 pt, single spacing, justified.

  • Heading: “Abstract” should be bold and left-aligned.

  • Keywords: italicized, separated by semicolons (;), maximum 5 words.

Article Structure (IMRaD)

Introduction

  • Include background, significance, objectives, and hypotheses (if any).

  • Include literature review with at least 5 recent sources.

Method

  • Describe research design, sample/participants, procedures, tools, and reproducibility.

Results and Discussion

  • Present results logically, using tables/figures only for summary.

  • Discuss implications, theoretical links, limitations, and directions for future research.

Conclusion

  • Conclusions should directly relate to the objectives.

  • Avoid repetition, bullet points, or unsupported claims.

  • Max length: 300 words.

Acknowledgments

  • Mention contributors who do not meet authorship criteria.

  • Declare funding sources.

  • Font: Times New Roman, size 11 pt.

Symbols, Units, and Numbers

  • Use SI units.

  • Insert a space between number and unit (e.g., 35 %, 120 °C).

  • Use decimal point for decimals and comma for thousands separator.

Equations

  • Align equations to the left, number them on the right.

  • Refer to them in-text as Eqn. (1), not “Equation 1”.

Figures and Tables

  • Must be clear, original, centered, and high-resolution.

  • Accepted formats: EPS, PDF, TIFF, JPEG.

  • Caption font: Times New Roman.

  • Tables must be embedded in the text (not as images).

  • Captions format: e.g., Fig. 1, centered below the image.

References

  • Minimum 30 references, all with DOI.

  • Style: APA 7th edition.

  • Must be managed using Mendeley or other reference tools.

  • Ensure all references cited appear in the reference list and vice versa.

  • Cite articles from Al Hasyimiyah whenever possible.
